Everyone at Motso Honey Company shares an undying passion for the wonderful world of bees. Since 2017, we’ve been keeping our bumble buddies busy, doing our part to make the world a better place to live in.Starting out with just a few beehives as a hobby, we have become a well-known Honey business in Zimbabwe.We are into production, processing and supply of honey and bee related products.We also into supply of propolis, beeswax, pollen, bee baits, bee suits, smokers, hive tools, honey processing and beekeeping equipment,all types of beehives.Speacilists in Beekeeping trainings, Bee relocation (removals), hive management, beekeeping consultancy, beekeeping assessment and pollination
We advocate for the protection of nature and it's environment.We work with communities through introduction of sustainable beekeeping to improve livelihoods in line with the 5P's which are-People,planet, partnerships,prosperity and peace,the pillars that shape the Sustainable development goals.Bees safeguard food security, preserve agricultural livelihoods & combat biodiversity loss.The project promotes sustainable livelihoods, environmental awareness, nature conservation, food production, health and nutrition, climate change adaptation and mitigation.
What started out as a hobby then a community development project soon became a thriving business, with dozens of beehives, outgrowers and a variety of products.We work with the youth, women,disadvantaged communities, indigenous groups and people living with disabilities while involving men through sustainable beekeeping as farmers use what is within their means to get started, become more sensitive to natural resources for improved incomes and livelihoods.In everything that we do, we are committed to producing natural, eco-friendly and healthy products at affordable prices. In addition to maintenance and production, we hope to raise awareness about the dangers bees currently face and their habitat which is the forests.
