Mosi Oa Tunya Cigars is a Zimbabwean registered company which has set up and runs the country’s first and Africa’s third hand rolled cigar manufacturing operation. Our product portfolio of premium cigar products is quite extensive and continues to be refined and expanded, offering local and foreign customers all over the globe, a unique and unparalleled cigar smoking experience. In addition, Mosi Oa Tunya Cigars has the capacity to supply its valued customers with ancillary products such as cigar lighters, cigar cutters, desktop humidors and free-standing humidors. We aim to establish comprehensive and responsive distributorship channel networks with individuals and organizations that share the same culture and passion as us, that of delivering quality service to our customers. All our cigar products are manufactured from 95% local Burley tobacco, with the remaining 5% being made up of imported cigar wrapper which Zimbabwe is not yet capable of growing to international quality standards. In time however, it is the company’s stated objective to produce all its cigar products with 100% Zimbabwean tobacco. In this regard, work is already underway in collaboration with the local Tobacco Research Board, Kutsaga. Mosi Oa Tunya Cigars prides itself in its contribution to preserving our environment, albeit in its small way, by limiting its carbon footprint to the lowest minimum possible. No trees are being cut down to cure the tobacco used in all our operations. All our tobacco input is air cured. In addition, all our packaging boxes are manufactured from waste material comprising of saw dust and wood shavings. The boxes are also recyclable, reusable, biodegradable and are multipurposed.
